Ralph Getty, (73) never forgot the experience he had on the Island, which has marked him for the rest of his life. Sam and Eric Taft have tried, in the past, to keep contacts with him, but he refused to answer them as he believed they were traitors . After being leader of the Island, he returned to England, where he had 10 years of therapy with a psychologist, and finally came out of this trauma. He married Wanda at 30, and has lived thanks to the rights from "The Lord of the Flies" books and movies. Recently, he has met Sam and Eric, and they went out for a pizza, as good old friends.

Jack Merridew, now 74, is still sorry for what happened on the Island. He did not mean to be mean and rebel-like, yet he says he did cherish making Ralph furious. Jack has been a tomboy all his life; he has married himself twice, and is divorced: he lives in Scotland today, and has worked as a successful shoe-maker in the town of Dundee.
Percival Wemys Madison (68), remembers only crying a lot during his stay on the Island. He remembers the horrible climate, the mean friends, and most of all, the Monster. As soon as he returned to England, Percival became an excellent student, and he went at Oxford, where he got a degree in Law. He is a famous lawyer in the small town of Londonderry, and has cultivated the passion for swimming.
Sam and Eric Taft, the 71 year old twins, remember those nasty days on the Island, and chaning tribe, thus leaving Ralph alone. They are the only ones who have tried to keep contacts with the others, who only just recently wanted to meet them again. They own the Canongate Books Ltd. in Edinburgh, and Eric has married himself, and has two daughters (one of which is Mariah, in the picture). Sam and Eric are very happy for this project, as they had the possibility, for the first time in 62 years, to meet again all of their friends (or enemies), everyone together again.
